Ruffin Augustus (Aus) Cole, Civil War Veteran. Ruffin is the son of Dennis Cole of Benton County, TN. Dennis Cole had 9 sons who served in the Civil War - 4 did not return home. My great grandpa Ruffin served 1862-1863 in the TN Confederate Army, Company H, 13th Infantry. He is buried in Lafe, AR Submitted by |
Minnie L. Coleman Arnold and her Father and family, the Rev. Charles A. Coleman. Rev. Coleman was a circuit riding Methodist Minister and preached in several of the Churches in Benton Co. on various occasions.
