      Hello,
The statewide registration for birth records began in 1914; however, general compliance wasn’t a standard until the late 1920’s. I checked several different databases for Josephine Hard, Josephine F. Hard and Josephine Frances Hard and didn’t find anything about her. The records I checked were census, births, marriages and deaths on Ancestry and FamilySearch. The surname Hard may have a different spelling in records and those variations would have to be checked, as well. Hart, Hurd, Hardy come to mind. This doesn’t mean that the Hard spelling was changed. Transcriptions and the way a surname was spelled or appeared in records may be the culprit. Take a look at the information on this website for other databases you can check to find your ancestor: .

    Hi Ms Anderson
I’m looking for someone who might have photos of Nancy Amanda Jones Lowe 1838-1885 who was married to David Allen Lowe 1830-1905. I have a photo of him and his daughter, Susan Ellen Lowe who was my GG grandmother. They lived in Hickman County. Thank you for monitoring this site.
