On motion Z. S. A. MITCHELL was this day appointed Guardian of JEFFERSON PORTER, M. FRANCIS PORTER, GEORGIA ANN PORTER, MARGRET PORTER and LOULA PORTER thereupon the said Z. S. A. MITCHELL came into Court was duly qualified entered into and acknowledged his bond in the sum of Two thousand Dollars with P. W. MOORE and W. H. MITCHELL as his securities who severally acknowledged said bond in open Court which bond was approved by the Court and ordered to be recorded.

C.C. Porter    )           For and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and twenty five
To--Deed       )           Dollars cash in hand paid, or its equivalent and the further consideration
M.J. Kilzer    )           of one note of one hundred and fifteen dollars and payable the first
$475.00        )           day of January 1910 we C. C. Porter and wife Tennie Porter have this
23 acres       )           day bargained sold and do by these presents transfer and convey unto
J.W.Emison $.44)           M. J. Kilzer & wife Mary Kilzer, all the right title and interest that we
                           have in and to the following described real estate to wit: the same is
lying and being situated in the 6th civil district of Crockett County Tennessee and begins at a 
stake in the north boundary line of a tract formerly owned by A. G. Dungan and wife runs thence
west 34 5/62 poles to a stake in the east boundary line of Dower lot thence south 39 poles to a
stake in field with Black han Bush Pointer corner of Dower lot No. 1 thence 29 poles to a stake
and pointers in M. C. Permenter N.E. corner in boundary of Dower lot, thence south with said
Permenter E. boundary 40 poles to a stake near his gate thence east 47 1/4 poles to a stake in
north of lane in Danie Lamone east boundary line; thence north 17 poles to a stake; thence east 6
17/31 poles to a stake the south west corner of a tract deeded to F. M. Goldsmith; thence north 62
poles to the beginning containing 23 acres more or less. To have and to hold to the said M.J.
Kilzer and wife forever. We do hereby convenant with the said M. J. Kilzer and wife that we are
lawfully seized and possessed of said land and the same is unincumbered and we will forever
warrant and defend the title of the same to the said Kilzer and wife against the lawful claims of
all persons whom so ever. It is hereby expressly agreed and understood that a special lien is
retained upon said land to secure payment of the above mentioned note of $115. Given under
our hand on this the 20th day of October 1908.

Crockett County      )       of said county the above name C. C. Porter the bargainer with whom I
                             am personally acquainted and acknowledged that he executed the within
instrument for the purposes therein contained and Mrs. Tennessee Porter wife of the said C. C. Porter
having personally appeared before me privately and apart from her husband the said Mrs. Tennie Porter
acknowledged the execution of the said deed to have been done by her freely voluntarily and
understandingly without compulsion or constraint from her husband and for the purposes therein
expressed.  Witness--J. W. Emison--Clerk of said court at office this 20th day of October 1908.
