Alamo Tennessee Wensday April 4th 1888
Ordered by the Court that T. B. CASEY, JOE GRANT and N. A. McMILLON be and they are hereby appointed to set apart one years support for MRS. SALLIE EMERSON and family out of JAMES EMERSONS deceased estate exclusive of what is exempt from execution by the laws of Tennessee and report to the next term of this Court.

Alamo Tennessee Monday April 16th 1888

We the undersigned free holders of Crockett County and State of Tenn having been appointed by the County Court at it’s April Term 1888 to set a side a years support to MRS. SALLIE EMISON widow of JAMES EMISON deceased also one minor heir after having been duly sworn proceeded to set aside the following artickels to witt all the corn on hand also all the fodder on had. Four hundred lbs Bacon and all the lard on hand four blbs flour twenty gallons Molasses fifty lbs sugar twenty five lbs coffy 12 lbs soda 2 lbs pepper 2 lbs spice one lb of salt. There being no money on hand we put 12 acres of wheat in sorry condition also all the clover on the place and on heifer in place of the specified artickels above. This April 7th 1888
