On motion L. C. BROWN was this day appointed Guardian of ADA BROWN, MINNIE G. BROWN, O. P. BROWN, EDDIE R. BROWN, OPHELIA M. BROWN minor orphans of J. J. BROWN decd Thereupon the said L. C. BROWN came into Court and entered into Bond in the sum of one thousand dollarw with W. H. ROBERTS and J. F. CARTER as her securities…

The Commissioners appointed at the Last term of this Court to set apart a years support for L. C. BROWN widow of J. J. BROWN decd and her children out of the personal effects of JOSEPH J. BROWN decd.

To the Worshipful County Court we the undersigned Commissioners appointed at the Novem term to lay off and set aside a years allowance for L. C. BROWN the widow of JOSEPH J. BROWN dec and her five Children beg leave to make this our report 8 head of pork hogs 50 Bbls Corn 30 Bu Wheat 5 hundred bundles of fodder 200 Bushels of Cotton see the above named articles we find on hand, all other articles here after named has to be furnished or supplied 50 lb coffee 150 lb shugar one half Bbl molasses 2 Bbl salt 10 lb soda 5 lb each of pepper & spice Thirty dollars for sundrees In order she may furnish herself with the last named articles we give her three bales of Cotton weighing not less than 500 lb each we beg leave to submit this report to your Consideration
