Henry A. Rutledge Registered April 20th 1838–
To }   Deed             This Indenture made this 17th day of
Margaret Boyd        April in the year of Our Lord 1838–
Between Henry A. Rutledge of Taladega County and State of
Alibama of the one part and Margaret Boyd of Gibson County
and State of Tennessee of the Other part Witnesseth that for and
in consideration of the sum of one hundred and eigte Dollars
to him in hand paid by the said Margaret Boyd the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged hath given granted bargained
sold aliened conveyed and confirmed unto the said Margaret
Boyd his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of
Land Situate lying and being in the County of Gibson on
the XXXXX South side of the middle fork of forked Deer river
being part of a 5000 acre entry in the name of Thomas
Travis and bounded as follows (to wit) Beginning at a
walnut the south west corner of a tract of 100 acres sold
by said Rutledge to John Price running thence south
with the east boundary line of a 1000 acre entry in the

name of Wm L Browne Seventy four poles to a Beech thence
East one hundred and twenty four poles to a small Hickory
thence North Seventy four poles to a Black Oak thence West One
hundred and twenty four poles to the beginning containing Fity
four acres be the same more or less. To have and to Hold the
aforesaid land and bargained premises with all and Singular
the right profits emoluments hereditaments and appurtenances
of in and to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining
to the Only proper use and behoof of her the said Margaret Boyd
her heirs &c.; forever. And the same Henry A. Rutledge for
himself his Heirs executors and administrators doth covenant
And agree to and with the said Margaret Boyd that the before
recited land and bargained premises he will warrant and forever
defend against the right title interest or Claim of all and every
person or persons whatsoever. In testimony where of the said
Henry A. Rutledge hath hereunto set his hand and affixed
his seal On the day and year first above written.

To } Deed 100 A.        ] Between Henry A. Rutledg of Talledego County & State
Margaret Boyd             ] of Alabarma of the one part and Margaret Boyd
Registered March 6th ,1844.] of Gibson County Tennessee of the other part
witnesseth, that for & in Consideration of the Sum of Three hundred Dollars
To him in hand paid, the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged–
hath Given Granted bargained Sold and Conveyed unto the Said Margaret
Boyd her heirs & assigns for ever a Certain Tract or parcel of land
Situate lying and being in Madison County and State aforesaid being part
of a 5000 acre Entry in the name of Thos. Travis and bounded as follows
(To wit) Begining at a Beach on the east boundry line of a 1000 acre entry
in the name of Wm L. Brown the south west corner of a 54 acre Tract
heretofore Conveyed by said Rutledge to Said Margaret Boyd, thense South
with said Browns line one hundred Twenty nine and a half poles to the
north west Corner of a 50 acre tract Conveyed by said Rutledge to Jeffery
Bledsoe, thense East with this north boundry line 124 poles to his north
East Corner Thence North 129 1/2 poles to Small Hickery, the South east
Corner of said 54 acre line Thence west with the south boundry line
of said Tract one hundred and twenty four poles to the begining–
Containing one hundred acres, be the same more or less.

To have and to hold the aforesaid Land and bargained premises
with all and singular the Rights profits emoluments hereditaments of in
and to the Same belonging or in anywen appertaining to the only proper
and behoof of her the said Margaret Boyd her heirs &c.; forever, and the said
Rutledg for himself his heirs executors and administrators, doth Covenant
and agree to and with the Said Margaret Boyd that the before Recited Land
and bargained premises he will warrunt and forever defend against
the Right title interest or Claim of all and Every person or persons
Whatsoever—In witness whereof the said Rutledge hath hereunto set
his hand and affixed his seal on the day and year first above
written.

Margaret Boyed        } Know all Men by these presents, That I–
To } Deed                 } Margaret Boyed of the County of Madison and
James Boyed             } State of Tennessee in consideration of the Natural
Regist July 6, 1869.   } love and affection which I have and bear for my
                                  son James Boyed have given granted and confirmed
and by these presents do give grant and confirm unto the said Rebecca
Stuart a certain parcel or tract of land lying and being in the County of Madison
and State aforesaid bounded as follows, Beginning at a Walnut runs Thence
South 101 3/4 poles to a Stake, the N W corner of Rebecca Stuarts 77 acre tract,
Thence East 124 poles to a Stake the N E corner of the same. Thence North 101 3/4
poles to a Black oak. Thence West 124 poles to the Beginning, containing Seventy
Seven acres, more or less. To have hold and enjoy the parcel of land
aforesaid unto the said James Boyed his heirs Administrators or assigns
to the only proper use and behoof of the said James Boyed his Heirs Ad
ministrators or assigns forever. And I the Margaret Boyed shall and
will Warrant and defend the above bargained land against the claims
of any person or persons whatsoever In Witness Whereof I have hereto
