Description: This 87-page book contains an extract, and an every-name excerpt, of Stewart County, Tennessee, Circuit Court Minute Books 1 and 1A, covering the period from September 1821 through September 1831. These minute books have been microfilmed but have never been transcribed in print form. They are the earliest surviving Circuit Court minute books for the county.
The book also contains a cross-reference to the court cases from this period whose case files have survived and are in possession of the Stewart County Archives. Copies of these case files can be ordered from the Archives.
