I Brice M. Garner have this day bargained and sold and hereby transfer and convey to John McMullin and his heirs forever for the Consideration of fifty five dollars to me paid a tract of land in th state of Tennessee and County of Hardin and District No. 22 87 Containing by estimation Two hundred Acres be the same more or less and bounded as follows. Range 13 Section two __. And beginning on a chestnut with two white oak pointers Standing 47 poles East and 228 poles South of the South East Corner of Entry No. 1254 in the name of James Courtney for 200 acres ___, thence South 126 1/3 poles at Blackjack and Chestnut pointers, thence East 282 poles to a Black oak and 2 black gum pointers, thence north 1? __ poles to the Beginning. To have and to hold the same to the said John McMullin his heirs and assigned forever I do Covenant with the said John McMullin that I am lawfully seized of said land have a good right to Convey it and this the same & unencumbered. I do further Covenant and bind myself my heirs and representation to warrant and forever defend the title to the said land and every part thereof to the said John McMullins his heirs and assigns against the lawful Claims of all persons whatever this 31st day of November 1850. On the back of said deed is the following Certificate to wit~

State of Tennessee}
Hardin County} This day personally appeared before me Brice M. Garner with whom I am personally acquainted and acknowledged ____ of law the execution of the within deed by him for the purpose therein expressed. Witness my hand this 1st day of Sept. 1851.
