September 21, 1968. She was a daughter of Dillard Coleman
Tabor b. June 11, 1861 d. September 4, 1922. and Eda Margaret
England b. in 1860 d. July 10, 1898. (see picture below)

ALMEDIE TABOR AGE 18 IN 1910
DILLARD COLEMAN TABOR
Dillard was born Metcalfe, MO and moved to Hemitite, MO when he married Eda. Dillard
he had 6 other children by Eda Margaret England. Dillard remarried after Eda's death
to Hester Ann Albertson b. May 13, 1882 d. March 23, 1943 They moved back to Metcalfe, MO
after they married. Dillard had 10 children with Hester Ann Albertson. A total of 17
children all together for Dillard.
Dillard Coleman Tabor was born June 11, 1861 died September 4, 1922. He died due to
a fire accident He was on top of a hay wagon about 30 feet up and was lighting his
pipe when his clothes caught on fire. He jumped from the wagon and broke his hip in
the fall. A girl driving a horse and buggy saw this immediately ran over to him, took
off her petticoat and beat the flames out saving his life. Due to the severe pain
he was in he was put in Western State Hospital which was the "insane asylum".
Almedie at the time was pregnat with Charles and was not allowed to see her father
because they were afraid it would "mark" the baby. So she didn't see her father
alive again because he died there and is buried on the grounds of Western State
Hospital.
Hester Ann Albertson Tabor
John Ira Tabor who is buried next to her was her oldest son.
He never married so he was buried next to her.
