Looking for information on Joseph ROBERTSON b. abt. 1824 and spouse
F.Caroline b. abt. 1826 (both born in Tennessee). They had four
children born in Tennessee.Three sons Georgia b.1847, James b.1849,
Thomas b.1855, and one daughter Nancy b.1852. Would like to find
County in Tennessee that they were from.

I am looking for any information regarding Lloyd Thompson and Vera
Thompson (maiden name Witherow), they are my grandparents. Lloyd
Thompson apparently died in New York during the 1950's but I have
been unable to find any information regarding him or their marriage.

I am researching my g-grandfather's ancestry and have come to a
block,
his name is JOSIA OR JOSEPH JACKSON CHILDERS, b 2-13-1843 in POLK
CO,
TN, d 1-28-1883 in Iron CO, MO, married SARAH P HAMPTON b 6-31-1847,
d
8-12-1933 in Iron CO, MO. He migrated to MO at the beginning of the
Civil War and fought in the 47th Infantry, CO C in MO. Their children
were Hannah Jane, Joseph A.J., Elizaeth E, John Bunion (my
grandfather), J. Clark. If anyone has connection to this Childers I
would appreciate any

William Rolling Dennis was born in Benton, Polk Co., TN on 16 Nov.
1876. His mother was Mary Ellen Spicer, b May 1862 in Polk Co. and d
1931 in Bradley Co. William's father died (perhaps before he was
born) and Mary married George Battle. Mary's parents were John
Spicer and Mary Jane Bates; they were in Obion Co. in 1870. Would
like to have information on William's parents and grandparents.

Home in 1897 and 1898. He was born 1831 in McMinn Co., TN and was
discharged May 26, 1898. Home was Benton, Tenn.

John and Patsy SWINFORD(probably born in the 1700's, North
Carolina)gave birth to Elijah SWINFORD in Polk County, TN. Elijah
(died 1870) married Celia E. GLASS (died 1863 in McMinn Co, TN).
Celia's father was James GLASS (aka James Swofford). Elijah and
Celia produced the following children: John, William (b. 1860), James
(b. 1849, Polk Co., TN), and Mark L.(b. 1854, Benton, Polk Co., TN).
James SWINFORD married Sarah HAMILTON. James and Mark both resided in
Log Hill, TN which may be near Cleveland, Bradley Co around 1907 or
so. Their children were Mary (aka Margie) (b. 1878), Texas Ann (b.
1881), James T. (b.1884), and Rosco (b. 1890). James T. married
Minnie MCPHERSON (b. 1878,Rhea Co., TN). Their children included
Walter, Lucille, Ted and Ruth. Those who possess any additional info

I need info on Thomas Jefferson VAUGHN(Jeff VAUGHN),and

Dollie VAUGHN.Dollie married a man named Sam Alloway.I know the names

I am seeking information on Ehud (Ehood or Hood) DENNY and his wife
Emma or Emily SEAY. They moved to the Copper Hill/McCaysville area
between 1891 and 1900. Emma died ca. 1901. Her place of burial is
unknown. Ehud married Caroline SEAY in Polk County in 1902 and then
married Mary EARWOOD CANNON in 1904. What happened to Caroline is
the question? Was she too deceased? What was her relationship to
Emma? Children of the first marriage were Lula, married to H. F.
SCROOGS in Polk County in 1909; Janie, married to Sidney ENSLEY in
1909, (my grandparents); Edgel, married first to GALLOWAY, second to
Cecil Carl GERMAN, third to Perry PICKLESIMER. Any information on
this family will be appreciated.
