16” Dec 1842 Church met at Bro John Allens Prayer by Jos Manning. took up Bankrupt case. after mature deliberation concluded not to admit any one who has taken the Bankrupt law, to a seat with them in council. That we will exclude any one from the church who may avail themselves of that law. took up case against Bro James Mathes for putting confidence in the members of this church, which charge failed. Also the case of Samuel Mathes for drunknep. Excluded him from the church. forbid the baptising of sister Margret Wilson for unchristian conduct.
