I am a descendant of William Buck ROACH who born in Orange County, NC, in 1806. It was said he was an orphan with siblings and that he was reared by an uncle. My cousins and I are trying to track down his brothers' lines. Apparently two of his brother's boys were married and lived in Benton Co., TN. Does anyone know anything about the ROACHES (Eaton and Manley) who married Benton County girls? One was supposed to have married a BABER(s) or BARBER, but according to the census, there was a BARKER or BAKER family there. Any ideas would be appreciated,

Isaac and Sarah Harris had children; Edward D. married Martha 1828., Alberry married Harriett about 1835., Isaac Jr. married Sarah Ross 1839., Julia Ann married James Greer 1849. 4 daughters, 1 son are unknown. Isaac Sr. and wife Sarah died 1850-1860. Seeking any information of this family. Lived west of Camden near county line

I am searching for information about my Great Grandparents, Robert Edward Burnette, b about 1878 believed in Big Sandy, Benton County, and Lena (Dowdy) Burnette b about 1880. They were married about 1893, and had the following children.

Charles dob: ???
Hillrey dob: ???
infant dob: ??? ( Died as a child)
Harold James or Jesse Harry about 1901
The family moved to Paris in the early 1900's, where i believe they operated a railroad bed grading company.

Any information regarding the Burnette or Dowdy family would be appreciated.

I'm looking for information on George Washington ROBERTS, born 10 Feb 1848 in Camden. His parents were Nathaniel ROBERTS of NC and Elizabeth GABBARD of KY.

Do you have any information about the Kee family. I know that William Riley Kee lived in Benton County as early as 1842. It is believed his father, Holloway Kee, Jr. or his father, Holloway Kee, Sr. may have been the original settlers of this family in that region. It is possible these men may have been named John Holloway Kee... I have not been able to confirm this. I know many Kee's are buried in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church cemetery in Benton County. Do you have any information about this family?
