ISHAM BEASLEY CEMETERY

HESSON-PARKHURST CEMETERY

 
 
 

           These two cemeteries are together on this site because they are both very small and very close together.  
           The Isham Beasley Cemetery is located in the yard of the late Sam Bridgewater Wilburn home at  #545 Dog Branch Road, north of Cato, Trousdale Co.,Tennessee.  The cemetery is enclosed by a iron fence.  To the north of  this cemetery and about halfway to the barn  is located another cemetery called the Hesson-Parkhurst Cemetery, which contains several graves some of which are marked by fieldstones.      36-24-29N  86-02-23W

Beasley Cemetery:
Beasley, Matilda  15 Jan 1830 - 30 Jan 1869
Beasley,  Rachel  23 Nov 1846 - 2 Nov 1903
          Note: According to Cemeteries of Trousdale County, Tennessee,  page 166,  Jessie S. Beasley, s/o  Braddock Beasley and Sarah Ferguson, is buried  between the above two listed wives.

Hesson-Parkhurst Cemetery:
Hesson, Willis      29 Mar 1873-15 Dec 1896
Parkhurst, Katie S.      8 July 1894 - 10 July 1896.  d/o J.W. & S.E. Parkhurst
          Note: Cemeteries of Trousdale County, Tennessee, page 166 lists Dillihay, Missouri (Mary), w/o Billy Dillehay (1850-1889), d/o Jessie Beasley as buried here.
