F.G. Norman Esq.
Dear Sir Will you be
pleased to call on Mr. Pybus & say to him that we have Instructed you to proceed by law & collect the amt. of his note in your hands as well as the balance of a note we placed in his (Mr. Pybus's) hands on the 28th of January 1846 as per Recpt Enclosed. We have recd om Mr. Pybus on acct of this note as follows
October 26th 1846 Cash Twenty five $25.00
August 20th    "        "     twenty dollr  20.00
$45.00
by haveing the above mentioned Notes closed as soon as possible you will greatly oblige
