Know all men by these presents that we, John H. Rainwater, Benjamin D. Bird, Elijah R. Chambers, Drewry T. Bird, James Galely, Irwin Bradley, and Joseph Daniel, all of the State of Tennessee and County of Stewart are held and firmly bound unto the State of Tennessee in the sum of Eight hundred dollars which payment will and truly to be made we bond ourselves, our heirs, Executors and administrators jointly (?) and Set orally (?) firmly by these presents sealed with our seals (?) and dated this 2d day of October 1854 - the condition of the above obligation is such that if the above besunden (?) John H. Rainwater administrator of all the Singular (?) the goods and chattle rights and credits of Drewry Bird deceased, do make or cause to be made a True and Perfect Inventory of all and singular the (?) goods and chattles, Rights and credits of the deceased which have or shall come into the hands, knowledge, or possession of the Said John H. Rainwater or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him and the Same so made do Exhibit or cause to be Exhibited unto his (?) insuring (?) county court and the Same goods chattles Rights and Credits and all other goods chattle Rights and Credits of the deceased at the time of his death which at any time hereafter may come into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him to well and truly administer according to law and further

do make or cause to be made a Just and True account of the administration within two years after the date of these presents and all the rest and residue of said goods, chattles, and credits which may be found Remaining on said administration account the Same being first Encommisiones (?) and allowed agreeably to law shall deliver and pay unto such person or persons Respectively as the Same shall be due pursuant to the True intent and meaning of this administration and of it shall appear (?) that any will or testament was made by the deceased and executor or Executors thereto (?) names do exhibit the same writs, claims (?) making it allowed and approved of accordingly of the said John H. Rainwater thereunto be Requested do Render and deliver Said letters of administration approbation of said Testament being first had and made in Our Said Court then (?) this obligation to be void Else to Remain in full force and law.
