BROCK. I am searching for any information concerning David BROCK who gave his residence as Dover, Stewart County, Tenn. when he was drafted in the War of 1812. He was drafted in August, 1814 for a term of six months and was honorably discharged at New Orleans in February, 1815. According to the census records and Pension Abstract he would have been born about 1886/87. The Pension Abstract states that he was a private in the company commanded by Captain James Gray in the Tennessee Militia in the war with Great Britian. NORRID. I would like any information on the name Norrid. Especailly there is a Wm Norrid in Henry Co about 1830. I have a Rebecca Norrid married Joseph Walker in a unknown place. Its supposed it was Stewart Tn and its thought her father was a Jerry Norrid of that place. SO I suppose Wm Norrid was Jrry's brother.
