Bluff Creek School - 1932-33
This picture belonged to my stepfather, Will V. (Bill) Wilkerson, the tall lad in the back with his
hands on his hips, who would have reached his 15th birthday in 1933. I know none of the others
in this photo. Written on the back is; "Made during Term of 1932-33, Ruth Carter, Teacher".
Note the pew-like bench on which the middle row is seated.
Bluff Creek School was located just off the Bradford Hill road at the corner of Wilkerson Hollow road.
It was very near the Cedar Point Methodist Church up the road by the old store building across the old
Gordonsville road. Many of the Skelton children went to school here.
