Services for Mrs. Jones will be Monday, August 6 at 2 p.m. at Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Steve Delashmit and the Rev. Don Acton officiating. Interment will be at Wilson County Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home and from 1 p.m. until services at the Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Jones, 81, of Lebanon, died Friday, August 3, 2001 at her residence. A native of Smith County, she was born June 10, 1920, to the late James Finis and Ada Sorrells Nabors. A retired beautician, she was a member of Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, former Lebanon Police Chief, Lawuel R. Jones in 1986 and a brother, John Nabors. Survivors include: children, James Stanton (Betty) Kemp of Pawley's Island, S.C. and Lynn K. (GLenn) Wills of Lebanon; grandsons, Kevin Kemp of Falmouth, Va., Shannon Kemp of Oakton, Va., and Brent Wills of Lebanon and brother, William Jess Nabors of Houston.

Active pallbearers will be Brent Wills, Kevin and Shannon Kemp, Keith Nabors, Robert Nabors, and Chester Sorrells. Honorary pallbearers will be Elders and Deacons of Cumberland Presbyterian Church, the Lebanon Police Department, Sheriff Terry Ashe, Boyd King, Ethel Spangler, Milfred Patton, and Neal Blackburn.
