Grigg, Eula Mai Duke West 1892 - 1972

Services for Mrs. Eula Mai Grigg, 81, of the Defeated Community, were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Hackett Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home, Kempville. The Rev. F.W. Lambert officiated. Burial was in Grigg Family cemetery at Defeated.

Mrs. Grigg died Sunday night, April 30, 1972 at Smith County Hospital. She was the widow of Arthur C. Grigg and daughter of the late Benjamin and Laura Kemp Duke. Mrs. Grigg was a member of Cornwell's Chapel Baptist Church and was a Retired School Teacher. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Lois Kemp, Defeated; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Malone, Carthage, and Mrs. Mittie Kirby, Donelson; grandson, Steve Kemp, Defeated. Sanderson Funeral Home of Kempville, Directors.
