William Casper Gregory Obituary

Services for William Casper Gregory, age 77, of 505 Meador Drive in Lafayette, formerly of the Ebenezer Community, were conducted Sunday, Mar. 8, 1986 at 1 p.m. at Phillip Anderson Funeral Home in Lafayette by Elder J. D. Sanders and Elder Ray Smith.  Pallbearers were J. L. Watson, Garvis Gregory, Richie Gregory, Thomas Earps, Jerry Dale Gregory, Phil Smith; Internment was in Will Gregory Cemetery.

Mr. Gregory passed away early Friday morning, Mar. 7 at Macon County General Hospital.

Born in Smith County, he was the son of the late William and Susan Wilburn Gregory and was married to the former Mamie Watson in 1932, who survives.  He was a retired farmer and a member of Macy's Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors besides wife include a son, Dwight Gregory of Lafayette; sisters,  Mrs. Johnie (Clara) Gregory and Mrs. Cordell (Altoria) Shoulders both of Pleasant Shade, Mrs. Earnest (Ruthie) Matthews of Carthage; brothers, Richard Gregory of Bellville, Illinois and Buddie Gregory of Pleasant Shade.
