Duke, Carsie Dow 1903-1966

Carsie Dow Duke, 62, died in a Nashville Hospital Wednesday night after a long illness. Funeral services will be at the Hackett Funeral Home in Kempville at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon by the Rev. Otis Johnston. Burial will be in the Family cemetery. Mr. Duke was born and reared in Difficult, a Son of the late Ben and Laura Kemp Duke. He had been employed by a Tire firm in Nashville for several years. Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Eula Grigg, Defeated, Mrs. Walter Malone, Carthage and Mrs. Mittie Turpin, Nashville.
