TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME, GREETING:
KNOW YE, That By Virtue of part of certificate No. 459 & 1316 dated the 
5th of February 1811 & the 14th of November 1812 issued by the Register of 
West Tennessee to Andrew Townsend & Eli Sims and entered on the 17th day 
of December 1814 __ No.1467
There is granted by the said State of Tennessee, unto Isaac Midkiff 
assignee of the said Andrew Townsend & Eli Sims.
A certain Tract or Parcel of Land containing Eighty acres by survey 
bearing the date the 3rd day of January 1815 lying in White County on the 
waters of Taylors Creek, and bounded as follows (to wit) Beginning at two 
post oaks, the north west corner of the fifty acre survey said Midkiff now 
lives on, Running thence North sixty poles to two post oaks, thence East 
One hundred and Sixty poles crossing the road leading from white plains to 
Rock Island to a post in the Survey, thence South One hundred & thirteen 
and one third poles to a large post oak, thence West to post and two post 
oak pointers in the line of the before mentioned 50 acre Survey, thence 
North with his said line fifty three and one third poles to two post oaks, 
the northeast Corner of said 50 acre tract, thence West with another line 
Crossing the before mentioned road One hundred poles to the Beginning --
With the hereditaments and appartenances. To have and to hold the said 
tract or parcel of Land, with its appurtenances, to the said Isaac 
Midkiff --- and his heirs forever. In witness whereof, Joseph M'Minn 
Governor of the State of Tennessee, hath hereunto set his hand, and caused 
the great seal of the State to be affixed on the Sixth day of September in 
the year of out Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventeen, and the 
Independence of the United States, the forty second.
