PARKER FAMILY CEMETERY

The Parker Family Cemetery is a small family cemetery on Parkburg Road about 300 feet west of the intersection of Parkburg Road and Bear Creek Road. The last burial here was in 1918. However, the cemetery is being maintained and is easily accessible.

David Donahue recorded this Parker Family Cemetery in April 2004. Howard Johnson recorded Parker Family Cemetery circa 1975. His record appears in Family Findings, Vol. VII, No. 4, October 1975, p. 32 and may have been used in Cemetery Records of Madison County, Tennessee, Volume I — The Southern Half of County (Mid-West Tennessee Genealogical Society, 1995, p. 111). There has been no marker loss in the 29 years between 1975 and 2004. However, bases for two missing markers can be found by the east and north fences.
