PARKER'S CROSSROADS CEMETERY

Parker's Crossroads Cemetery cemetery is located just west of Highway 22 about a half mile north of I-40. The cemetery's drive is opposite the Parker's Crossroads Municipal Park. The cemetery is maintained very well. It is difficult to determine its age. David Donahue recorded this cemetery September 26 and 27, 1992, and checked and updated it November 7, 2003.

James and Arlie Epperson recorded this cemetery circa 1976. Their record appears in Henderson County, Tennessee Cemetery Inscriptions (R. H. Harris, Memphis, 1976), Vol. I, pp. 65-72. This earlier record is referred to as "Eppersons" in the notes below. The earlier record is good for the western half of the cemetery but poor for the eastern half (birth and death dates other than year were omitted, middle initials were often omitted, especially for females, and all relational information was omitted). For the entire cemetery the Eppersons omitted information for anyone not dead at the time of the survey, even when their names and birth dates may have been available on double markers.
