NEW BEECH GROVE CEMETERY

New Beech Grove Cemetery, January 1999

 

            New Beech Grove Cemetery is located on McHaney Mill Road across from New Beech Grove Baptist Church, about 8 miles southwest of Lexington. The cemetery is mostly white.

Parsons, Bethel, Apr. 3, 1892-Aug. 11, 1899 (disintegrating concrete marker)
[This marker sits off by itself, at the base of a tree on the north fence line. The marker is a nonprofessional concrete marker of a style frequently seen in black cemeteries in Madison County.]
