YARBRO CEMETERY
(Joe Yarbro Road)

This is a moderate size, shady, well-maintained family cemetery located on Joe Yarbro off White's Creek Road. The cemetery is shown at the center top edge of the U.S.G.S. Bath Springs quadrangle. David Donahue recorded this cemetery December 27, 1996, and checked and updated it March 18, 2003. Perhaps up to 20 unidentified graves are suggested by depressions, lines of jonquils, fieldstones, and remnants of temporary markers.

An earlier record of this cemetery was made by Margarett Alexander on February 24, 1976 and June 23, 1980. Her record appears in Decatur County, Tennessee Cemetery Records published by the Captain Daniel A. Wesson Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Parsons, Tennessee, 1984, pp. 615-617. She notes "8 unmarked graves." This is referred to as the UDC transcription in notes below.
