This cemetery was indexed by Blanche Tuten and Margarett Alexander on May 23, 1976. Thanks to Mrs. Jimmie Lomax for going with us. The story on this graveyard is that J. J. Shannon was part white, and inherited a very large farm. He lived in a beautiful well-kept home and was highly respected by all who knew him.
