MAYS CEMETERY

Located off Highway 203, turn to left at Davis Mills, follow Davis Mill Road about 2.6 miles, cross creek, first house to left is bone of Lynn Garrett. Graveyard is this side of Garrett home, most difficult to reach. Perhaps a mile off main road, we forded a creek, and walked through unused field, then walked up a dry creek bed before reaching graveyard which is on a hill to left above creek bed. Thanks to Fred Smith Alexander who was most helpful in assisting us to find the graveyard. This cemetery was indexed on May 29, 1978 by Margarett Alexander and Gail Story. They noted "about 25 graves that are unmarked."
