Located across from the Decatur County Fairgrounds —take the blacktop road to the right about 1 mile out of Parsons, follow a short distance, take first left hand road, follow short distance pass 2 brick houses on the right. A field gate is visible to the right, go through the gate, on field gravel road, at end of road, there is a large clearing (pasture) to the left is a little rise, with a few trees. In this area is the graveyard. Most of the rocks are broken or down.
This cemetery was indexed by Margarett Alexander on April 30, 1978. A special thanks to Fred Smith Alexander for driving me to the area, and to Allan Holland for serving as a guide. The graveyard is on the property of Mr. & Mrs. G1ynn Smith, formerly owned by Mr. & Mrs. Albert Herndon. Ms. Alexander noted "about 30 unmarked graves."
