TUCKER CEMETERY

Tucker Cemetery is a small family cemetery near the southern end of Clifton Bend on a farm road off the main highway. The cemetery is located where a drive to the barn turns north from the east-west farm road. The cemetery is overgrown. Other than the fence having fallen down, the cemetery seems to be in no worse shape in 1996 than it was in 1976. The cemetery is labeled on the U.S.G.S. Clifton quadrangle. The cemetery is full of daylilies.

David Donahue recorded Tucker Cemetery November 29, 1996. Margarett Alexander and Blanche Tuten recorded Tucker Cemetery on February 15, 1976. Their record appears in Decatur County, Tennessee Cemetery Records published by the Captain Daniel A. Wesson Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Parsons, Tennessee, 1984, pp. 586. They noted "11 graves."
