HOLLADAY CEMETERY
(Benton County, Tennessee)Harrison Family Plot at Holladay Cemetery
This is a large cemetery about ½ mile west of Holladay at the intersection of Cemetery Road and the Bible Hill Road. Cemetery Road bisects the cemetery into northern and southern sections. Gates to each section note that the cemetery was established in 1851. In the notes below, area previously recorded as the northern section is separated into northwestern and northeastern sections based on the access drive loops. There is a fenced Harrison family plot within the northernwestern section.
David Donahue recorded Holladay Cemetery March 11, 2001 and ckected and updated it July 25, 2004. F. B. Cain recorded this Holladay Cemetery on October 1, 1995 (southern section) and August 1, 1996 (northern section). That record appears in Cemetery Listings of Benton County, Tennessee (Benton County Genealogical Society, 1997). This is referred to as Cain in the notes below. B. F. Cain estimated 30-40 unmarked graves in the southern section and several unmarked graves in the northern section.
