BIBLE HILL CEMETERY

Bible Hill Cemetery is located across the road from Bible Hill Baptist Church. The cemetery is indicated on the U.S.G.S. Parsons quadrangle (1986). The cemetery is very well maintained. David Donahue recorded this cemetery November 29, 1991 and checked and updated it Nov. 6, 2003. Two graves have unreadable markers and maybe three graves are unmarked.

Margarett Alexander, Blanche Tuten, and Bobby Bartholomew recorded this cemetery on June 23, 1976, Nancy Jones rechecked it on August 23, 1978. Their record appears in Decatur County, Tennessee Cemetery Records published by the Captain Nathaniel A. Wesson Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Parsons, Tennessee, 1984, pp. 60-69. This is referred to as "UDC transcription" in notes below. They noted four "unmarked" graves.
