MARY LOUISE HARPER wife of Rev. Thomas P. Harper, died Reagan, Texas, Sept. 27, 1878; native of New Jersey; moved to Texas in 1871.

General ELISHA STRONG born Cumberland Co., Va., 1792; moved to Oglethorpe Co., Ga. when young; married Annie Scott Hill, Sept. 18, 1821 (she died Feb. 1878); died Aberdeen, Miss., Nov. 22, 1878. Veteran of War of 1812 and Seminole War (1836); graduate of Ga. Military School. His son, Charles Strong, died in Confederate service at Gettysburg.
