HOGGARD - In 1860 Census of Putnam Co shows JAMES ROBERT HOGGARD born 27 Nov 1839 in TN. Parents WILLIAM HOGGARD and JANE OGLESBY (she died 1850 in Knox Co., TN). There were two brothers, WILLIAM and JOHN HOGGARD who would serve in the Confederate army during Civil War. James served in the Union. Would like any info on these HOGGARD brothers or any other of the family. Thanks. It would be nice to reconnect some of the family after all these years.

I'm researching the family name "Crook". I have traced my great-grandfather (Washington or Wash Crook) back to Cookeville Tenn (Putnam county)~1860 circa. He married a "Nannie Suggart" and they had 5 children. Their names: "Reece Comer or Comer Reese" (my grandfather),Ella Louise, Claude, Diebral and Sara Vance Crook. My grandfather migrated to Detroit where he met and married "Leolly Graham". They had 8 children. Their names: Lillie Mae, Cornelius, Phillip (my father), Howard, Carl, Harry, Sharon and Kenneth Crook. I will appreciate any information you might have on my great-grandfather (did he have any brothers or sisters, what were his parents names, etc). Please share any information you may have, concerning any of my family members with me. WELCH-Nancy Jane WELCH b.1864 in Putnam County, married King David HORTON 31 Jul. 1881 in Smith County, and d.25 Mar. 1930 in Nashville, TN. She married 2nd to Jasper IVENTH. She is my Great -Grandmother. I do not know who her parents were. Can anyone please help me place her with her parents?
