Demaris Cornelia Evans: 6/24/1819-9/8/1853 (no stone at present, however WPA shows her under
name of Cornelia buried here)
1860 Monroe Co. census shows John with a younger wife named E.H. age 22.
John's 3rd wife, Jane G. Fain 11/7/1820-1/18/1906. They married 2/21/1866 McMinn Co.
J.H. Coltharp will - Book C, pg 302
To Dau., Susan K. Hicks $500.00, should she die before me, then to legal heirs $200.00.
Remainder equally divided between O.J.R. Coltharp, S.J. Coltharp, Amelia Hamilton, and
Susan K. Hicks. Execs. S.J Coltharp, R.U. Hicks. Wits. None. Executed Jan. 19, 1885.
