WEST IN MOUNT ZION CEMETERY

Can anyone tell me if the West family is buried in the Mount ZionCemetery in Meigs County? I have death certificate of my GreatAunt, Martha West, a single woman b.1843 d. 11-17-1922 bureid in Mt.Zion. The undertaker was J. S. Kyher in Sweetwater, Tn and the info.was provided by Robert West who lived in Niota, Tn. I have also seenposted on the TN death index a John West who died in 1919 in Meigscounty, TN. I wonder if the family has a plot in the Meigs CountyMount Zion cemetery. This is the family.Father:Enoch West b. 1800, Mother: Elizabeth Riddle b. 1814. Theirchildre: Elija b.1836, May b.1838, Samuel T.b.1840, Sarah b.1842,Martha b.1843(this is the one I have the death certificate for)Rhodab.1846 Lucinda b. 1848 John b.1849 James b. 1852(my ggrandfather d.1930, Oklahoma) Jessie b. 1855. MCNELLY

Trying to find anyone who knows anything about William McNelly. Hewas born in McMinn County in 1831. Later moved to Polk Co. Served inCivil War. In 1897 he made application to the Tenn.ConfederateSoldiers Home and was released in 1898. I find him on the 1900census in Polk Co.along with Jasper McNelly. After that, I cannotfind any trace of him. Any information on that family.

Eagerly seeking any information on the FOUTS/FOUTZ line of Meigs, Bradley, Hamilton, James counties (perhaps more). My great grandparents may have been Benjamin Franklin & Martha FOUTS. My grandfather, Solomon Joseph FOUTS married Mattie "Pearl" MOORE in 1903 and lived in Birchwood, later moving to Alexandria, VA. Mattie lived with her mother, Carrie DEFRIESE MOORE, and Pearl's sister, Jennie MOORE. Solly & Peal's children included, Paul, Roy, Ruth, Ruby, Velma, Mitchell, infant son, and Billie. "Solly" may have been born in KY. Known siblings are Leland Fouts, William Fouts and Carrie Fouts(Witzel). Carrie lived in Birchwood. William & Solly changed the spelling of Fouts to Foutz. ALLEN, COX, DENTON

Researching my gggrandfather Robert ALLEN. He married Margaret COX,and moved to the Goodfield area in 1828, from VA. Owned considerablefarmland and constructed and operated a grist mill on the GoodfieldRiver. He helped form the Methodist Episcopal Church at PleasantHill.Does anybody know about where this mill and church was/is located,and the Goodfield Cemetery where he is most likely buried.
