John B. Warren was born 27 February 1796 in Orange Co NC. His death
\noccurred 24 February, 1884 in Giles Co TN where he was buried at Oak Grove
\nCemetery . John married Rachel Hunt born 24 November, 1797 in NC. They
\nmarried 15 June, 1817 in Caswell Co NC. Their marriage bond was signed by
\nJohn B. Warren and James Kelley, and witnessed by Azariah Graves. Land
\nrecords show 13 February 1847 has John obtaining 157 \u02dd acres of land on
\nthe waters of Little Shoal Creek.<\/p>\n

John and Rachel lived in North Carolina until 30 October, 1825 at which
\ntime they relocated to Giles Co TN and settled near Minor Hill. They lived
\nthere until John died. John participated in the War of 1812. John was
\nblind the last five years of his life. All of their children lived to
\nmaturity. John was a Whig in his politics. Children of John and Rachel

Henry J. Warren born 21 March, 1818 I NC, died 31 August 1881 in Giles Co
\nTN. He was buried at Oak Grove Cemetery in Giles County, TN. Henry was a
\nfarmer and blacksmith by occupation. Henry and Mary were listed on 1850
\nand 1860 censuses as living in Giles County. Henry kept a journal on his
\ntrip to Arkansas in 1858. A copy of this diary is in the possession of
\nMignonette Warren Kelsoe. Henry married Mary Ann Minerva Collier born 9
\nMay, 1821 in Giles Co. She was the daughter of James Collier and Sarah
\n[Sally] Jane Kimbrough, both born in North Carolina. Mary Ann was a
\ndescendant of Captain Thomas Graves who arrived in America with the Second
\nSupply in 1608 to Virginia. Children of Henry and Mary were;<\/p>\n

\nWilliam Albert born 10 August 1852 Elmira [Susie] was born 30 May, 1854 in
\nGiles County, TN.<\/p>\n

I found them listed in Civil District 4, Household 89 of Giles County TN
\nas; Henry J. age 53 born NC and a farmer Mary M. born TN William F.? age
\n17 born in Tennessee Elmira S. age 15. There was Nancy Hawgood? age 29
\nliving in the household. Page 2 My Warren Family<\/p>\n

Nathan Anderson born 14 March, 1842 in MS, died 31 March, 1906 and buried
\nat Oak Grove Cemetery In Giles Co TN. Nathan is said to have had 29
\nchildren related by his son, James A. Warren?s deposition, filed April 6,
\n1912. Heirs of N.A. Warren, Court case 6444, Giles Co TN. In 1910 census
\nshows Nathan with 2nd wife. He was a Confederate veteran. He made his home
\nat Minor Hill in Giles County, TN near the Alabama border. His land joined
\nthe famed Jack Daniel?s land. Children of Louiza Ann Balch born 16

George Washington Warren was born 1844 in Mississippi. He served in the
\nCivil War as Confederate soldier. The 1880 Giles County Census shows him
\nborn at MS. His pension application number is 3297 and states he was born
\nin Tipper Co. MS in 1844. He and his wife helped in the raising of;
\nShirley, Orene, Emma and Robert, who were children of Andrew Johnson and
\nInez Farris. Inez died out west and was buried there. Andrew came back
\nwith his children.<\/p>\n

James Pickett married Melissa Jane Warren who was born 12 June, 1848 in
\nTennessee. Her death was 15 Sept. 1880 and burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in
\nGiles County. Melissa was married 1 December, 1867 to James Pickett by
\nWilliam Smith, JP.in east TN. Jim was born 4 February, 1848 in East
\nTennessee. Their children were;<\/p>\n

James Riley Warren b 1839 in TN. He died about 1885 in Fulton Co Arkansas.
\nHe was buried at Flint Springs Cemetery on Highway 62 in Fulton County AR.
\nHis son, James L. Warren was buried at his side. James married three
\ntimes. Married first to spouse unknown to me. Married 2nd to Palmaria C.
\nBalch born 30 April, 1844 in TN. Married 29 November, 1866 in Giles County
\n, Tennessee. Married 3rd to Ellaretta Roberson born about 1844 in TN.<\/p>\n

Martha Warren was born 26 May, 1818 in Lincoln County, TN. She died 13
\nFebruary, 1857 at Mulberry, in Lincoln County TN. Martha was the daughter
\nof William R. Warren born ca 1792 and Sarah ___ born ca 1796. Martha
\nmarried Carr Bailey White born 18 January, 1818 in Stokes County, NC. Carr
\nwas a son of William White, Revolutionary War soldier, who died in May of
\n1833 at Mulberry, Lincoln County, TN and wife Eliza L. Wilkerson. Carr and
\nMartha married in Lincoln County, TN of 18 Feb. 1836. Their children were;
\nSanford Monroe White born 26 Sept 1836 at Mulberry William Ransom White
\nborn 25 Oct. 1839 Willis Warren White born 7 December, 1841 Amanda
\nElizabeth White born 30 June, 1844 Sterling Council White born 13 May,
\n1847 Philander Franklin born 26 August 1847 Martha Caroline born 27 June,
\n1850 Dovey Morier Ioway born 18 Dec. 1855. [ she married Robert
\nC.[Campbell?] Abernathy]<\/p>\n

Carr Bailey White born 18 January, 1818 in Stokes County, NC married 2nd
\nMary Elizabeth Watson who was born 20 October, 1830 in TN. They married 18
\nFebruary, 1836 in Lincoln County, TN.<\/p>\n

William R. Warren Sr. was born about 1792 and died about 1835 in Lincoln
\nCounty, Tennessee. He married Sarah ___. Their children were; Robert
\nWarren born 1816 William Warren James Warren Peter Warren born about 1821
\nSamuel Warren Mary Warren Sarah Warren Elizabeth Warren Martha Warren
\nNancy Warren probably all born in Lincoln County, Tennessee<\/p>\n

Robert Warren was born in 1816 and married Temperance Wilkerson, daughter
\nof Lewis Wilkerson and Isabel Eakins. Tempie was born 7 March, 1820 at
\nLincoln Co TN. Their children were; Jefferson Warren born 1846 in Lincoln
\nCounty TN Ruth Ann born 1848 Melinda born 1849 Christian b 1851 S.E. born

Children born to Robert Warren and Temperance Wilkerson continued
\nMargaret Ann b 14 February, 1857 in KY, died 3 November, 1936 at Oxly,
\nRipley Co, KY. She was buried at Center Hill Cemetery in Oxley, KY.
\nMargaret md on 13 May, 1875 to William Andrew Jackson Mc Guire born 1845
\nin Graves County, KY. Their children were; Phoebe Jane McGuire born 20
\nSeptember, 1875 Graves Co KY Addy born 1877 Thomas Andrew Jackson McGuire
\nJr. born 24 February, 1879 in Graves County, KY<\/p>\n

Lewis Wilkerson born ca 1790 probably at Rutherford County, NC, died
\nbefore 1850 Giles County TN census when his widow Isabel Eakins was living
\nwith their youngest daughter, Rosanna and her husband, John Y?. Jackson.
\nChildren of Lewis and Isabel were; Notley Wilkerson b 1810 in Calloway
\nCounty, KY, md June 20, 1826 Fayetteville, Lincoln County TN to Margaret
\n[Peggy] Richardson Temperance Wilkerson born March 7, 1820 KY died Feb
\n17, 1903, md August 30, 1842 Lincoln County TN to Robert Warren Eliza K.
\nWilkerson born Jan 12, 1823 Lincoln County, TN md William ?Clark? White [
\nmy direct line] Caroline Wilkerson born abt 1829, md July 13, 1848 Lincoln
\nCo TN to Newton Austin Eslick Rosanna Wilkerson born ca 1830 married
\nJohnY. Jackson. They were living in Giles County, TN in 1850 census with
\nher mother, Isabel Eakins Wilkerson living with them.<\/p>\n

William R. Warren Jr. was born about 1829. He was son of William R. White
\nSr. and wife, Sarah D. Rackley born 1809 in North Carolina. William
\nmarried 1st Elizabeth ____ born about 1825. He married 2nd Martha Warren
\nborn about 1859. He lived next door to John B. Warren and wife Rachel Hunt
\nin Oak Flat section at household no. 1224 in 1850 Giles County census. In
\n1860 census of Giles County, he was still living next to John B. Warren
