Warren was born 27 February 1796 in Orange Co NC. His death<br \/>\noccurred 24 February, 1884 in Giles Co TN where he was buried at Oak Grove<br \/>\nCemetery . John married Rachel Hunt born 24 November, 1797 in NC. They<br \/>\nmarried 15 June, 1817 in Caswell Co NC. Their marriage bond was signed by<br \/>\nJohn B. Warren and James Kelley, and witnessed by Azariah Graves. Land<br \/>\nrecords show 13 February 1847 has John obtaining 157 \u02dd acres of land on<br \/>\nthe waters of Little Shoal Creek.<\/p>\n<p>John and Rachel lived in North Carolina until 30 October, 1825 at which<br \/>\ntime they relocated to Giles Co TN and settled near Minor Hill. They lived<br \/>\nthere until John died. John participated in the War of 1812. John was<br \/>\nblind the last five years of his life. All of their children lived to<br \/>\nmaturity. John was a Whig in his politics. Warren born 21 March, 1818 I NC, died 31 August 1881 in Giles Co<br \/>\nTN. He was buried at Oak Grove Cemetery in Giles County, TN. Henry was a<br \/>\nfarmer and blacksmith by occupation. Henry and Mary were listed on 1850<br \/>\nand 1860 censuses as living in Giles County. Henry kept a journal on his<br \/>\ntrip to Arkansas in 1858. A copy of this diary is in the possession of<br \/>\nMignonette Warren Kelsoe. Henry married Mary Ann Minerva Collier born 9<br \/>\nMay, 1821 in Giles Co. She was the daughter of James Collier and Sarah<br \/>\n[Sally] Jane Kimbrough, both born in North Carolina. Mary Ann was a<br \/>\ndescendant of Captain Thomas Graves who arrived in America with the Second<br \/>\nSupply in 1608 to Virginia. Children of Henry and Mary were;<\/p>\n<p>James Riley born 1839 in TN<br \/>\nNathan Anderson b 14 March 1842 in Mississippi<br \/>\nGeorge Washington b 1844 in probably in MS<br \/>\nJohn B. born 14 May, 1846 in TN<br \/>\nMelissa Jane born 12 June 1846<br \/>\nAmanda Tennessee born 18 August 1850 in Giles Co. She was my ancestress.<br \/>\nWilliam Albert born 10 August 1852 Elmira [Susie] was born 30 May, 1854 in<br \/>\nGiles County, TN.<\/p>\n<p>I found them listed in Civil District 4, Household 89 of Giles County TN<br \/>\nas; Henry J. age 53 born NC and a farmer Mary M. born TN William F.? age<br \/>\n17 born in Tennessee Elmira S. age 15. There was Nancy Hawgood? age 29<br \/>\nliving in the household. Page 2 My Warren Family<\/p>\n<p>Nathan Anderson born 14 March, 1842 in MS, died 31 March, 1906 and buried<br \/>\nat Oak Grove Cemetery In Giles Co TN. Nathan is said to have had 29<br \/>\nchildren related by his son, James A. Warren?s deposition, filed April 6,<br \/>\n1912. Heirs of N.A. Warren, Court case 6444, Giles Co TN. In 1910 census<br \/>\nshows Nathan with 2nd wife. He was a Confederate veteran. He made his home<br \/>\nat Minor Hill in Giles County, TN near the Alabama border. His land joined<br \/>\nthe famed Jack Daniel?s land. R. born 7 Feb. 1879<br \/>\nM.K.<\/p>\n<p>Nathan married 2nd to Betty Jim Thomas born 22 January, 1861, married 22<br \/>\nJanuary 1882 at Giles County, TN. Their children were;<\/p>\n<p>James Anderson born 1882<br \/>\nL. Logan b 1883<br \/>\nRobert Emmett born 22 Aug 1887 in Giles County<br \/>\nInfant b 1891<br \/>\nLillian Pearl b 21 May 1894<br \/>\nMason Clarence born 3 March, 1896<br \/>\nHobert Hoit born 17 June 1897 in Warren Hollow, Giles County, TN<br \/>\nWillie M. born 7 Dec 1899<br \/>\nPorter Carmen born 12 Jan, 1901<\/p>\n<p>George Washington Warren was born 1844 in Mississippi. He served in the<br \/>\nCivil War as Confederate soldier. The 1880 Giles County Census shows him<br \/>\nborn at MS. His pension application number is 3297 and states he was born<br \/>\nin Tipper Co. MS in 1844. He and his wife helped in the raising of;<br \/>\nShirley, Orene, Emma and Robert, who were children of Andrew Johnson and<br \/>\nInez Farris. Inez died out west and was buried there. Andrew came back<br \/>\nwith his children.<\/p>\n<p>James Pickett married Melissa Jane Warren who was born 12 June, 1848 in<br \/>\nTennessee. Her death was 15 Sept. 1880 and burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in<br \/>\nGiles County. Melissa was married 1 December, 1867 to James Pickett by<br \/>\nWilliam Smith, JP.in east TN. Jim was born 4 February, 1848 in East<br \/>\nTennessee. He died about 1885 in Fulton Co Arkansas.<br \/>\nHe was buried at Flint Springs Cemetery on Highway 62 in Fulton County AR.<br \/>\nHis son, James L. Warren was buried at his side. James married three<br \/>\ntimes. Married first to spouse unknown to me. Married 2nd to Palmaria C.<br \/>\nBalch born 30 April, 1844 in TN. Married 29 November, 1866 in Giles County<br \/>\n, Tennessee. Married 3rd to Ellaretta Roberson born about 1844 in TN.<\/p>\n<p>Martha Warren was born 26 May, 1818 in Lincoln County, TN. She died 13<br \/>\nFebruary, 1857 at Mulberry, in Lincoln County TN. Martha was the daughter<br \/>\nof William R. Warren born ca 1792 and Sarah ___ born ca 1796. Martha<br \/>\nmarried Carr Bailey White born 18 January, 1818 in Stokes County, NC. Carr<br \/>\nwas a son of William White, Revolutionary War soldier, who died in May of<br \/>\n1833 at Mulberry, Lincoln County, TN and wife Eliza L. Wilkerson. Carr and<br \/>\nMartha married in Lincoln County, TN of 18 Feb. 1836. They married 18<br \/>\nFebruary, 1836 in Lincoln County, TN.<\/p>\n<p>William R. Warren Sr. was born about 1792 and died about 1835 in Lincoln<br \/>\nCounty, Tennessee. He married Sarah ___. Their children were; Phoebe Jane McGuire born 20<br \/>\nSeptember, 1875 Graves Co KY Addy born 1877 Thomas Andrew Jackson McGuire<br \/>\nJr. born 24 February, 1879 in Graves County, KY<\/p>\n<p>Lewis Wilkerson born ca 1790 probably at Rutherford County, NC, died<br \/>\nbefore 1850 Giles County TN census when his widow Isabel Eakins was living<br \/>\nwith their youngest daughter, Rosanna and her husband, John Y?. William<br \/>\nmarried 1st Elizabeth ____ born about 1825. He married 2nd Martha Warren<br \/>\nborn about 1859. He lived next door to John B. Warren and wife Rachel Hunt<br \/>\nin Oak Flat section at household no. 1224 in 1850 Giles County census. In<br \/>\n1860 census of Giles County, he was still living next to John B.
