Louis Howard O'Briant, 72, retired Army serviceman, died of congestive heart failure Saturday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Lauderdale in Ripley. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Halls Funeral Home with burial in Greenhills Memorial Gardens. Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Dyer has charge. He was a World War II veteran.

Mr. O'Briant leaves two sons, Johnny O'Briant of Dyer and Robert O'Briant of Patterson, Mo.; two sisters, Juanita Ferguson of Grenada, Miss., and Katie Lee Overstreet of Madison, Miss., and four grandchildren.
