Services For William Levi Chipman prominent farmer in Edith Community who died at 3 Monday afternoon in Lauderdale county hospital. Services were held Tuesday afternoon at grace Baptist Church near Ripley. Dr. C. L. Bowden and the Rev. James Williams officiating. Burial in Grace Cemetery with Garner Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Chipman who was 74 had been ill about 11 days. He leaves his wife Mrs. Eula Mae Boone Chipman 2 sons, James Aaron and William L Chipman, Jr of Ripley, and eight daughters, Mrs. Ora Lee Miller of Kennett MO, Mrs. Mabel Wood of Crossville, IL, Mrs. Mamie Boggs, Mrs. Wanda Stone, Mrs. Juanita Jones, of Memphis, Mrs. Effie Kirkpatrick, Mrs. Annie Howard and Miss Sybil Chipman of Ripley
