Ripley, Tenn. -- Funeral services will be held at a later date in Ripley, Tenn. for Mrs. Martin Dee Yochum, the former Katie Nelson, 93, of Lafayette, who died Friday, February 19, 1999, at her residence. Interment will take place in the Arp Cemetery in Arp, Tenn. A native of Gold Dust, Tenn., Mrs. Yochum was a resident of Lafayette since 1970. She was the daughter of the late William Nelson and the former Sarah Meter. Mrs. Yochum is survived by one daughter, Emma Dee Bell of Lafayette; two sons: Cled Yochum of Sun City, Arizona and George E. Yochum of Somonauk, Illinois; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a 4-year old son, John T. Yochum; 5 sisters; and 2 brothers. Delhomme Funeral Home are funeral directors in charge of the arrangements.

Katie P. Martin Yochum, 93, of Lafayette, La., formerly of Rupley, died Friday, Feb. 19, at her home. Services were Friday, Feb. 26 at 11 a.m. at Ripley Church of Christ with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Mrs. Yochum, the widow of Martin Yochum, leaves a daughter, Emma Dee Ray Bell of Lafayette; two sons: Cled Yochum of Sun City, Arizona and George "Pat" Yochum of Illinois; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Katie P. Yochum, 93, widow of Dee Yochum, died Feb. 19th in a house fire in Lafayette, La. where her daughter, Emma Dee Roy Bell, resides. Services were at 11 a.m. friday in Ripley Church of Christ with burial at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at Arp. Garner Funeral home of Ripley is in charge. She was born at Gold Dust, Sept. 28, 1905, daughter of the late William and Sarah Meter Nelson. Survivors include 2 sons, 3 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
