GEORGE A. JACKSON - -

Clerk in Cursey's Minnow Shop in Ripley died at 8 a. m. last Friday in his home in Mary's Chapel, according to Dr. A. J. BUTLER, Lauderdale County Medical Examiner. Mr. JACKSON, who was 57, had been in bad health for a while.

Services were Sunday in Conner Assembly of God Church, of which he was a member, burial in Mary's Chapel Cemetery. Born in Dyer County, he had lived in Lauderdale County 47 years.

He leaves his wife, MRS. HELEN LAND JACKSON;
his mother, MRS. ALICE HOLCOMB of Edith;
a son, JAMES JACKSON of Chicago, Ill.;
two daughters, MRS. GEORGIA BRIDGEWATER and MRS. MARTHA CROWDER, both of Ripley;
three brothers, JESSE JACKSON of Edith, CLARENCE JACKSON of Halls,
and THOMAS JACKSON of Memphis;
three sisters, MRS. EARL DANIELS of Ripley,
MRS. LYDIA WEBB of Halls and
MRS. LULA MAE FOLLIS of Dennison, Texas.
