Charlie Gooch, 91, farmer, died Friday at Crockett County Nursing Home after a long illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Halls Funeral Home with burial in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. He was a member of Elon Baptist Church near here.

Gooch, the widower of Alma Lynn Voss Gooch, leaves two daughters, Mrs. Louise Espey and Mrs. Ruth Espey, both of Friendship; a son, Gordon Gooch of Halls, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
