| Freeman Midgett, 74, of Ripley, retired prison guard and farmer, died Saturday, March 10, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. Services were held Monday, March 12, at Garner Funeral Home with burial in Ripley Memorial Gardens. He was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Chursh. The husband of Myrtle Hayes Midgett, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Sarah Hutcherson of Ripley, a son, Billy Wayne Midget of Halls, a sister, Mrs. Lorene Rhodes of Ripley, three grandchildren, Mike Hutcherson, Marcy Hutcherson and Jerry Wayne Midgett, three great-grandchildren, Amanda Hutcherson, Max Hutcherson and Stacy White. |
