Thomas Ellis, 78, retired from Tupperware Co., died of congestive heart failure Saturday at Methodist Hospital of Dyersburg. Services will be at 4 p.m. today at Westside Baptist Church of Halls, where he was a member, with burial in Greenhill Memorial Gardens. Halls Funeral Home has charge.

Mr. Ellis, the husband of Karie Burse Ellis, also leaves a son, Herley Ellis of Halls; a sister, Betty Knight of Memphis, and a brother, Wyman Ellis of Jacksonville, Ala.
