Johnny L. Cunningham, 71, retired factory worker, died Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Lauderdale in Ripley. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Halls Funeral Home with burial in Greenhill Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Cunningham, the husband of Elizabeth Irene Doss Cunningham, also leaves a daughter, Kathy Forsythe of Friendship; a son, Michael Cunningham of Halls; two sisters, Dorothy Mitchell of Dyersburg and Willodean Hendrix of Saltillo, Miss., eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
