LeVoid Bonds, 61, of Memphis, retired employee of City of Memphis, died Wednesday at his home after a long illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis with burial in Greenhill Memorial Cemetery in Halls, Tenn.

Bonds, the husband of Dorothy Bonds, also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Gail White of Halls; three sons, Norman Bonds of Chattanooga, and Johnny Bonds and Jimmie Bonds, both of Memphis; his mother, Mrs. Lula Porterfield of Earle, Ark.; a sister, Mrs. Annie Lou Elder of Corinth, Miss.; three brothers, George Porterfield of Earle, Marshall Porterfield of Turrell, Ark., and Alvis Porterfield of Tyronza, Ark., and six grandchildren.
