I am also looking for any information about Martha FITZGERALD and her marriage to William M. DAVIS. I am a descendant of William and Martha and would like to get some more information about them.

Based on the 1910 census, Civil District 2, James, Tennessee, Ruth Ann CHEEK is listed as 66 yrs. old b/c 1844 Pennsylvania. I am trying to locate any death record i.e. (certificate or obituary) on her. My final goal is to verify the name of her parents if possible. I have her as Ruth Ann HART b 19 Feb 1844 Fayette County, Pennsylvania, daughter of Moses Jefferson HART and Anna Maria (BURNWORTH) HART. She married Joseph CHEEK and spent most of her life in Bradley County, Tennessee and James County, Tennessee.

My Cherokee Ancestor married John SITTON or SUTTON abt 1780 , I know her as Betsey SUTTON, b. 1762 Ootelwah Creek. Betsey and John had four sons, John, Henry, Elijah and Robert. Another researcher sent me the names TE SKE and TE LAS SHA SKI that might be Betsey's family name and that she died in Canada in 1837. If someone has information concerning Betsey's family I would deeply appreciate it.

I am trying to find out what battle was fought on Dolly Pond Rd In Birchwood TN. We have found lots of things concerning some battle including some graves of soilders with different medals of honor. My family lived in this area but none of them seem to remember or just don't want to talk about it. Can someone give me some info?

My family originated out of Harrison and Snow Hill. My Great Grandfather John Samuel RAYL married Mary Kizzie SCOGGINS. His father George W RAYL, and his father Franklin F P RAYL. I only have details on John and nothing after him. My grandparents Edgar D DAVIS married Ella Mae RAYL. Edgar's mother in 1900 is listed divorced. I have no further information to link me to husband except 2nd husband Jerry Myer SIMS. Jerry M SIMS married 2 Sarah DAVIS' making it very hard to figure out who is who! First Sarah DAVIS DENNINGTON (m2) was older than Jerry SIMS but for some reason they had Adie T DAVIS visiting and called her neice--who is the daughter of the 2nd wife Sarah Isabell DAVIS!! The 2nd wife (not wife in 1900) is listed with 5 of the 6 children she had in 1900 separately.

Agnes was married to William O. RUTHERFORD and is buried in Tippah Co., Mississippi. Trying to find out the SCARBORO / SCARBROUGH children's father's name. Looking for any information on Tressie (EAVES) SUTTON, b. abt 1853-1854 in McMinn County, Tennessee, d. 02 Jul 1915 near Shepard, Tennessee. According to her Death Certificate, her father was Robert B. EAVES, and her mother was Sarah E. EAVES (don't know her maiden name). Tressie is supposed to be buried near West View, Tennessee. She was married to James Monroe SUTTON who died in Springfield, Missouri in 1935 and is buried near Mountain Grove, Missouri.
