CLARK BOUGHT THE WHEELER DAIRY FARM, THERE WAS AN OLD CEMETERY NEAR THE HOME. THE CEMETERY WAS ABOUT FORTY FEET BY EIGHTY FEET AND CONTAINED ABOUT EIGHT-FIVE GRAVES. IN PAST YEARS THE STONES WERE ON THE GROUND AND CATTLE HAD BEEN ALLOWED IN TO GRAZE. WHEN THE AREA WAS DEVELOPED, IT IS THOUGHT THAT THE STONES WERE COVERED WITH DIRT IN A NEARBY DITCH. THE REVEREND HALE (FIRST NAME UNKNOWN) AND HIS WIFE MADE A VISIT TO THE CEMETERY ONCE A YEAR. HE USED TO BE THE MINISTER AT LOWLAND. FLORENCE CORNELIA, BORN 14 AUG 1850 AND DIED 29 MAY 1879. DAUGHTER OF CHARLES WENDEL MEEK AND SARAH AMANDA HALE. JAMES P. EVANS, BORN 30 JAN 1838 AND DIED 26 JAN 1886. MARRIED 25 DEC 1870 FLORENCE CORNELIA MEEK. FLORINE C.
