I would like to talk to a
researcher/family of the Reverend StephenT. ADAMS 1842-1916 Dickson
Co TN. The picture on the Dickson Co TNGenealogical page is uncanny!
He and my dad look so much alike, Icannot believe it! My ancestor
John Q. ADAMS b 1802 VA, wife Ailsey b1814 GA, were in the middle TN
area in the 1830's as my ancestor, their son,Anderson, was born 1832
TN.( This is 28 years I have beenhunting for his family.)They then
went to the Christian Co KY area, then to Saline/White Co IL in time
for the 1850 Fed. Census.Acousin-elderly, said that she was told that
the early family had a"cave" on their property-Ruskin? She didn't
know where tho, wethought KY, but possibly we are wrong, and its TN?
I know this isgrasping at straws, but there are lots of similarities,
so its wortha research into this family. Thank you so much .
