Esq. Frank S. MOORE resigned the position of cashier of the Farmers and Merchants Bank last week. R. W. RIGGINS also resigned the position of assistant cashier. W. H. SUDBURY was elected to succeed Mr. MOORE but no assistant was elected.

Mrs. Manie CALLIS of near Dyer is the guest of her sister, Mrs. J. P. SIMS.

Miss Betty SUDBURY left last Friday for a two weeks visit to her brothers, Graham and Jimmie, in Blytheville, Ark.

Will TWEEDY of Bonicord was her Saturday.

Dr. J. P. SIMS was in Dyersburg Monday.

George CALLIS of near Dyer was here last week.

Mr. Dougald VERNON of Elizabeth was in town Monday.

Mrs. W. H. KEATHLY of Trimble visited relatives here.

E. F. BUCKLES and W. W. MAXWELL were in Dyersburg Tuesday.

Mrs. HALE of Henderson visited her husband here last week. She will move here in a few weeks.

J. W. SUDBURY made a business trip to Halls Wednesday.

County Supt. T. E. LOWRY of Bells was here last week.

Mrs. J. D. CRAIG and Mrs. DAWSON of South Dyersburg are guests of Mr. & Mrs. Frank CRAIG.

W. C. JAMES, merchant at Stokes, was in town Monday.

C. T. GREEN of Tigrett was here yesterday.
